The funding will support vulnerable members of the community to develop their digital skills, supporting them to communicate with family and access online facilities, thus reducing social isolation and encouraging independence. The project will work closely with Sandwell Community Hub and several community centres will become digital hubs for local communities. The funding supports the delivery of 85 Click and Chat and Digi Diner courses and will support 320 participants through the process.
