The funding will allow the project to continue and develop its after school cooking club for deprived primary school children in the local area, to include a 'drop off' service for parents, and engaging children who may otherwise be unable to attend. The aim is to develop practical skills in preparing and cooking food, whilst building relationships and encouraging children to access other services available at the centre.
