Dementia Support will use funding to extend its range of services, currently offered at its purpose-built dementia hub, to isolated and vulnerable communities facing barriers to accessing the hub. This will be provided by an outreach/wayfinding service. The funding will also be used to run Dementia-appropriate activities to improve health and wellbeing, including for carers, family and friends, inclusive social events and 'chatter tables' to share experiences and ideas. The funding will also be used to train people in the community to become dementia champions.
