The organisation will use the funding to work with young people to deliver an alcohol awareness project to tackle the issue of teenage alcohol consumption in the borough. It will also run workshops with young people that will then tour round local secondary schools and libraries and a develop a piece of work for a young people's festival exploring issues including knife crime, hate crime, mental health, social isolation, drugs and alcohol misuse, teenage pregnancy and unemployment as a positive intervention using arts to understand and explore the issues and experiences they are facing.
