The funding will be used to facilitate a wide range of craft, health and well-being-based activities, where vulnerable, marginalised or isolated people have the opportunity to connect and form friendships with one another. The project aims to encourage creative self-expression in order to promote self-esteem and will provide opportunities for peer support, which is recognised to be an informal early intervention strategy.
