The five-year project is using £400,000 to support people across Northern Ireland with Macular Disease. The project is creating new peer support groups and enhancing the range of services offered. The volunteer-led groups have links with medical professionals and local services to deliver events, group talks and publicity. The project is also providing befriending, employment support, developing a suite of online resources, and providing support to use different techniques to see better.
