The project is using a £148,799 grant over three years to run activities for older people in the Maghera area to reduce loneliness and isolation. It is creating a shared space and community hub with a coffee and tea room where people can socialise or learn new skills. The project is employing a part-time coordinator to organise activities including crafts, a men's shed, quizzes, yoga, and workshops. They are also installing a lift and fire escapes and upgrading their electrics in their new building.
