The project aims to ensure people have access to good food when they are hungry, helping to reduce hunger within and improve the wellbeing of the community. The funding will be used to provide subsidised fresh meals for families and older people who experience food poverty, out of three community hubs, as well as teach people to cook fresh meals.
Money will go towards fridge x 3, slow cookers x 20, leaflets, launch events x 3, free meals, safety boxes and cookery classes.
