This funding will be used to recruit and train volunteers to support families who are experiencing challenges such as social isolation, mental health problems, disabilities or unemployment. This is to ensure that every child has the best possible start in life. The group aims to visit around 250 families in their homes each year and offer support to help them tackle issues affecting their lives.
