The Coronavirus Community Support Fund Evaluation and Grantholder Learning Hub

Young Minds

The Coronavirus Community Support Fund (CCSF) was a funding programme for charities and voluntary and community sector organisations in England during the COVID-19 pandemic. It was open for applications from May to October 2020. Grants were awarded to increase support for vulnerable people affected by the crisis, and to reduce closures of essential organisations that provided services for vulnerable people. The funding came from a £200 million grant from the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS), and was distributed by The National Lottery Community Fund.

Ipsos MORI, in partnership with New Philanthropy Capital and The Tavistock Institute of Human Relations, was commissioned to undertake an evaluation of the CCSF and create a grantholder learning platform. This included learning activities, and supported grantholders to share and learn from their experiences during the pandemic.

Below you will find links to evaluations and learning reports produced by the evaluation partnership.
