Project overview

CAST was set up and continues to be run by a collective of people with lived experience as refugees and asylum seekers and has been running for 10 years (registered as a charity now a CIO since 2016). CAST houses and supports people who are isolated due to their level of English mental health challenges due to the trauma they have faced lack of income substance misuse physical health issues and finding it challenging to access community services. It will use the funding to fund senior personnel an Immigration Adviser and new office space.
