Improving the lives of carers - Project

Project overview

The project is using funding to improve the lives of young and adult carers in Kingston by providing a wide range of services to ensure they meet differing needs including IAG counselling support groups social outings school transition groups and mentoring. The funding ensures the group provide more emotional support to carers who are experiencing isolation and/or mental health problems and whole family targeted and intensive support to prevent harmful or excessive caring by young carers.
