Project overview

The project will use funding to support more vulnerable people across the Isle of Wight who are self-isolating. The support on offer will include deliveries of groceries prescriptions and providing transport to and from doctor and hospital appointments. One to one support is also provided for those who need it through home visits from volunteers. Additionally a 24hr helpline will be set up managed by volunteers during the day and paid staff overnight. This will be to support people who are experiencing loneliness distress depression anxiety and grief through either a phone or video call with someone they already know and trust.
