Project overview

The funding will be used to deliver a range of activities supporting around 200 young carers aged 5-18 years old each year. Through drop-in groups tailored one to one support and respite activities the service aims to reduce the burden and negative impacts of their caring role and to enable them to fulfil their potential. The service supports around 200 young carers each year and the funding will enable the group to support more young carers by working with local health organisations to increase identification and support.
