Project overview

The project is using funding to better support and develop existing and new volunteers to deliver current and new activities as identified through community consultation. The project aims to encourage volunteers who are interested in developing new skills or lack confidence and self-esteem by providing pathways to employment and provide support for older and disabled members in the community through befriending shopping gardening and provision of additional volunteer support for the foodbank. The overall aim of the LIVE project is to improve health and well-being by alleviating loneliness and isolation by giving more people a positive focus through volunteering
