Project overview

This new project will provide crucial support for people with dementia in their own homes and communities by matching them with a volunteer or paid befriender for coffee mornings, social interaction, shopping trips and outings. The aim is to reduce isolation, increase confidence and independence, provide opportunities and activities to increase social interaction and offer respite opportunities for carers.
