A day centre will help people with sickle cell disease in Wolverhampton manage their pain, increase their confidence and boost social support networks. Services will include alternative pain relief, practical advice and information to deal with crises, signposting to training and voluntary work, assistance to find work and a range of help for carers of people with the disease.
