Don't Dis Me I'm Able - Project

Project overview

This is the expansion of an existing project aiming to increase the independence of young disabled people in Norfolk. This will be done through a network of peer support groups, enabling young disabled people to develop their confidence and social skills. They will also be supported through a leadership programme encouraging them to go into schools and set up their own satellite support groups. Beneficiaries can organise activities to overcome barriers, such as helping to build independent living skills.
