BLISS (Better Living in Spirit and Style) - Project

Project overview

This project supports secondary school aged girls who are experiencing difficulties in their lives due to difficult home lives, low family incomes, drug abuse, anti social behaviour, teen pregnancy and poor attendance at school. A range of activities are offered such as fortnightly sessions at the local youth centre, weekly one to one mentoring sessions, trips to places of interest and monthly group therapy sessions. All the girls are encouraged and supported to take up voluntary opportunities.
