Valuing Lives - Project

Project overview

This project aims to build confidence and improve health for socially isolated older people in Plymouth, creating a support programme of people aged 50 and over who have a wide range of support needs. These will range from regular company to reduce isolation, through to more intense support to bring them back into the community, such as volunteering. Activities include exercise, cooking, arts and crafts, games and reminiscence, confidence building sessions, weekly coffee mornings and health information.
