New skills Programme - Project

Project overview

This is a new project, based on two small-scale pilots, to be delivered by Leigh Youth and Community Development Trust (LYCDT) in Wigan, Lancashire, based at the Leigh Sports Village Stadium. The aim of the project is to increase the employability of 14-19 years olds by providing better access to opportunities to improve levels of qualifications and life-skills, changing attitudes towards positive thinking and employment through an environment that motivates them to think that work is a positive thing.
