Project overview

This project is to help older people living in Cockermouth, Workington, Keswick and outlying villages affected by the Allerdale floods that occurred in November 2009. It will provide information, support and signposting to deal with practical and emotional problems caused by the floods with the help of volunteers. For example, insurance matters, refurbishment issues, impact from displacement from stable home environment, loss of personal property and loss of social networks and activities.
