Community Connection - Project

Project overview

This project will expand on previous work by developing a structured training programme of skills building to improve the employability of volunteers. It will be held at St. Martin's Centre in Byker, Newcastle. Volunteers will be involved in activities including catering, cleaning, maintenance, reception work and working with children. Each will have a personal development plan, used to create a bespoke training package to offer support and access to training, including numeracy and literacy, if required.
