Project overview

Crescent Community Radio (CCR) will further develop community radio programmes that can be accessed by local communities living in the Deeplish and Milkstone wards of Rochdale, Lancashire. The project will increase community understanding of the medium of community radio and offer community members (primarily unemployed, low waged and unwaged) four week training courses and volunteering opportunities at the CCR premises that increase the confidence, self-esteem and basic life skills of the beneficiaries.
