Project overview

This project in Bury will focus on one street in each of eight neighbourhoods suffering from multiple deprivation. Each neighbourhood will create community ambassadors and green wardens to improve wellbeing and reduce social isolation. Activities might include setting up a neighbourhood watch scheme, going to the shop for one another, organising a street party, having a group voice against crime and anti-social behaviour and holding meetings on local issues.
