Project overview

This community allotment project will be based in the New Parks area of Leicester to bring carers together, predominantly from Asian communities, to improve their mental health and wellbeing and reduce loneliness and social isolation. The allotment hosts a range of activities such as growing and sharing fruit and vegetables and encouraging light physical activity, whilst also acting as a community meeting space where people can relax, laugh, talk and share their experiences.
