Project overview

The project will provide community outreach care to 100 local carers, aged 30-85yrs who are providing full-time care to a family member living with dementia or experiencing ill mental health. Carers will be offered regular weekly breaks, enabling them to rest and gain practical support as well as helping them to fulfil their personal goals. It will also enable carers to take up leisure activities, form new social/peer support groups, take up new hobbies and gain new skills.
