Project overview

This project will deliver a range of activities to local, vulnerable older people, helping to reduce isolation and loneliness and increase the support on offer to people with dementia and disabilities. Through the employment of a dedicated Development Worker and establishing a team of volunteers, activities will include local day trips, arm-chair aerobics, sewing, dance, gardening, singing and cookery. Advice and guidance will also be provided to disabled people on issues affecting their lives.
