OPAL - Older People & the Arts for Life - Project

Project overview

A programme of arts and cultural activities will be funded for older people, in particular those living with dementia. Delivered with the help of trained artists at different venues in the city, these activities will be designed to encourage inclusive opportunities that overcome common barriers to participation including social background, ill-health, poor mobility, low income, language and cultural origins. Activities will include dance, clay work, mask making, singing and poetry.
