New members join The National Community Fund’s England Committee

The National Lottery Community Fund has announced the arrival of two new members to its England Committee. Rosie Ginday and Ray Coyle joined with effect from 1 April 2019, and will now work alongside existing members in deciding how National Lottery funding is used to support communities to thrive in England.

Rosie Ginday is the founder and director of community interest company, Miss Macaroon, which reinvests 100% of its profits for training and employing long-term unemployed young people, enabling them to build their confidence and skills. Rosie was recognised with an MBE in the 2019 New Year’s Honours List for services to the community in Birmingham.

Ray is the CEO of Auticon, a social enterprise and the first IT consultancy in the world to exclusively employ autistic adults as consultants. Prior to joining Auticon, Ray was a director at Osborne Clarke, the European Law firm and UbiQ. As well as being an IT specialist he is also a qualified solicitor. Ray was also recently recognised by the Social Entrepreneur Index as one of the top ten social entrepreneurs in the UK.

The National Lottery Community Fund’s England Committee is responsible for strategy, policy, planning and management of funding programmes in England. Last year The National Lottery Community Fund awarded over half a billion pounds (£508.5 million) and supported over 11,000 projects across the UK for health, education, environment and charitable purposes.
