Work Readiness Action Programme (WRAP)

A project for people aged 16-29 years old who aren’t in education, employment or training (NEET), especially those who are looked after, in care or are care leavers, ex-offenders, supervised by the Youth Offending Team or homeless.

Support will be available from professional therapy, one-to-one and peer group support. WRAP will support those involved with C.V. writing, interview preparation and ongoing guidance, and provide practical support to overcome barriers to work. Ongoing support beyond the job offer will help to sustain employment, while WRAP will also work with employers to tackle prejudice and identify opportunities for participants.
