Enterprise M3
The Enterprise M3 area incorporates Basingstoke and Deane, East Hampshire, Hart, New Forest, Rushmoor, Test Valley, Winchester, Elmbridge, Guildford, Runnymede, Spelthorne, Surrey Heath, Waverley and Woking. Building Better Opportunities has invested £2,000,000 in this area.
There are persistent social needs in parts of the Enterprise M3 area, including pockets of urban and rural deprivation, an ageing workforce and some youth disengagement from the labour market, as well as changing ethnicity and increasing welfare dependency.
EM3/1/1 - Inspiring Enterprise
Inspiring Enterprise helps unemployed people develop the skills and confidence to build social enterprises. To ensure the organisations are effective and sustainable, the project offers taster sessions, individual advice, small group workshop sessions, training days, meet-up clubs, helpful guides and much more.Participants get mentoring to develop their ideas and business plans, as well as insight and inspiration from Meet the Boss sessions.
EM/3/2 - The Alliance Programme
A general employment support project to improve social inclusion amongst those furthest from employment, training and job search.
