An award has been made to the Royal School for the Deaf Manchester to allow them to carry out a community project that will include the whole community in commemoration of the 60th anniversary of WW2. Various local schools will be invited to the their premises to put on exhibition of WW2 work they have undertaken. They will then have the opportunity to learn dances of the time and meet veterans and hear their experiences of the war. Stories will be recorded and turned into a book.
