The Portsmouth branch of the Royal Naval Patrol Service Association would use their grant to enable four veterans from the service to attend a large-scale reunion in Lowestoft, which is the location of the wartime HQ and RNPS museum. The reunion marks a number of notable anniversaries- including the 60th anniversary of the end of WW2 and the 30th anniversary of the Association reunion itself.
