The funding will be used to host the 2021 Wakefield Pride event with a parade music and entertainment with two family stage areas. The event will raise awareness within the public about the issues and difficulties affecting the lives of LGBT+ people as well as how this has been affected by the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
