Project overview

The funding will be used to fund a part time administrator for a counselling service that offers free and low cost counselling to those who can least afford it due to an increase in self-referrals as well as referrals from local GP practices and other NHS services which are under pressure. The project aims to support people experiencing mental health issues adapting the organisation's service to meet changed and increased demand by expanding the telephone counselling service instigated during the pandemic further by providing online counselling.
