The funding will be used to support Black African & minority ethnic (BAME) community members during the pandemic. The project will pay for food hygiene certified chefs to prepare meals to be delivered to vulnerable households. Grocery parcels will also be distributed to alleviate stress during lockdown and the cooked local foodstuffs will provide comfort to the vulnerable and isolating BAME households and people that the project seeks to support.
