Mental Health Support with Maybe Southwest: Meeting demand during Covid-19 - Project
Project overview
This project aims to address the increased demand on mental health provision as a result of COVID-19 providing psychotherapy and therapeutic art to adults and children with mental health issues. This will include those who are unemployed those on low income or benefits and homeless people. They currently have nine therapists working for them but demand is increasing and more are needed. The organisation receives referrals from a local Domestic Abuse Service the Bristol Homeless Service and local GP surgeries who are directly reaching the people who need their services the most.
