Project overview

The organisation is running a social prescribing project for adults across Northern Ireland and Scotland to improve their health and wellbeing. GPs will refer patients who need non-medical care to a social prescriber who will link them with community activities, including fitness classes and social groups. They are working in partnership with The Healthy Living Centre Alliance, the Health and Social Care Trusts in Northern Ireland and the Scottish Communities for Health and Wellbeing.
