Care Home Collections - Project

Project overview

The group will run volunteer-led reminiscence sessions at local care homes to record residents’ memories, images, oral history recordings, and stories. These will be made into reminiscence booklets and used as part of a community archive. They will provide staff training, resources and an information guide for each care home highlighting the benefits of reminiscence activities for older people and helping to ensure the project's sustainability.
