Northern Ireland Institute for the Disabled - Project
Through their hostel in central Belfast, Northern Ireland Institute for the Disabled is providing opportunities for homeless men to develop their skills and interests, improving their mental health and wellbeing.
We want to instil a sense of self-worth and confidence in each or our residents and the funding has given us all a big boost in doing this. The most important thing to give back to someone who experiences homelessness is their dignity and pride
Edmund, Hostel Manager
“My time here is a staging post on the road of life to the next chapter and I’m making the best use of it. It’s about using this time to understand how I got here and how I get to the next stage in my life, because life is a journey. Every day is a new day now and the opportunities are there.” Paul, project user
