The organisation will use the funding to hold a celebratory event to coincide with the Manchester Pride festival. This will enable the organisation to open its community café to members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community and the wider public to enjoy a family friendly alcohol-free event, where people of different generations can celebrate. It will also have stalls at the main event to attract a wider audience.
