The organisation will use the funding to celebrate the solidarity of local people from diverse faiths, BAME and LGBT communities and disabled and able bodied people to stand together against hate crime. The events will take place in National Hate Crime Awareness week in central locations and will include theatre performances, music and artists. This will celebrate the bravery of victims and bring diverse communities together to promote community cohesion, understanding and respect for one another.
