Funding will be used to host a series of events to celebrate the multicultural and diverse local community. The project will run throughout the year and will celebrate key events ranging from Diwali, Christmas, Chinese New Year, Easter and Eid. Local residents will have the opportunity to enjoy activities such as art workshops, sharing of food, music and traditional art. It is hoped the project will help breakdown cultural and language barriers and work towards a richly diverse cohesive community spirit.
