Ups and Downs Southwest Volunteer Befriending Scheme - Project

Project overview

The group will use the funding to train 15 volunteers to support and encourage other parents of disabled children. The project will last nine weeks and be delivered by a professional trainer. This will provide prospective befrienders with the confidence and tools to assist other families experiencing difficulties managing their child's diagnosis and offering practical support to these parents.
