This groups aim is to alleviate poverty and re-engage people with food. It does this by supporting young people to enter employment in the hospitality industry and getting more people cooking. The Larder cook school operates as a social enterprise with all profits being used to support the employability programmes for young people. The group will use the funding to commission a feasibility study to examine the possibility of becoming an SQA approved centre, and for the development of a bakery and café.
