Test volunteer led trip boats in Falkirk - Project
Project overview
Re-Union Canal Boats wishes to start operating canal boat trips from The Helix in Falkirk run by volunteers. These would benefit local people through access to volunteering and training opportunities as well as accessing the canal activities. The group has the opportunity to rent a wide beam boat from Scottish Canals for one season to test out running these trips. Funding will be used to carry out a community consultation and market research and implement a pilot of the project.
