The funding will be used to develop a social impact bond (SIB) to support to parents and children considered as being harder to place before and after the adoption process, with the intention of reducing the numbers of adoptive placements that breakdown. The four month grant will fund financial modelling, service development, market testing, legal costs and other technical support. The development of the SIB has the support of both the Yorkshire & Humber Adoption consortium and the London Adoption Board.
