The organisation will use the funding to deliver an educational project for parents and carers with children about to start school who may not be emotionally or developmentally ready. This will enable the group to help parents and carers to understand their role as their child's first educator, and how to help them reach milestones such as using the toilet, dressing, eating and drinking unaided and sharing with others so that they will be ready and fully prepared for starting full-time school..
