Project overview

The Â‘Step by StepÂ’ project based in Merthyr aims to reduce the risk of local young people with a disability becoming socially isolated by improving leisure and alternative education provisions. The project also helps with their transition into adulthood by giving children and parents the opportunity to meet and discuss their needs and expectations, covering a spectrum of topics including health, exercise, careers, benefits and education. The grant, over three years will fund salaries and expenses.
